The fourth day of the festival «Theatre.UZ/2013»

On the fourth day of the IV International Theatre Festival «Theatre.UZ/2013» was another master-class from French actor, director and producer Greg Germain. In Academic Russian Drama Theatre of Uzbekistan was the performance «Klassika.ru " - Chamber Drama Theatre (Vologda, Russia) , the Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan - the play " Silk" ( A.Barikko ) Klaipeda Musical Theatre " Pilies " (Lithuania). Hosted show "Lonely Star" (N. Abboskhon) Z.M. Babur Andijan Regional Theater of Musical Drama and Comedy.  At the capital's theater, the Uzbek State Drama Theatre presented the play" Zobeide" (Carlo Gozzi ) and Tashkent State Musical Comedy Theater (operetta) delighted the audience with musical "Love in Blues" by O. Henry stories.

The State Institute of Arts and Culture hosted a master class from actor and director Greg Germain (France). Theme of the meeting was the presentation of the International Theatre Festival "Avignon-Off», whose president is Greg.  "Avignon-Off» - famous theater festival held annually in France, which is attended by hundreds of theaters from all over the world.


Avignon Festival - the oldest theater festival in Europe, held annually in the French city of Avignon. The festival was founded by distinguished French actor and director, founder of the Marseilles National Folk Theatre (Theatre National Populaire (TNP) Jean Vilar (Jean Vilar). Festival is held annually in July in a medieval Provencal Avignon, where the performances take place in the open air in urban areas, and the main auditorium offline traditionally serves patio Papal Palace - courtyard itself serves auditorium performances in open-air without curtain and scenery . Besides the main program of the Avignon festival at the same time goes OFF- program - a huge theatrical Fair, which meets the needs of creative expression numerous French and foreign theater groups . Festival "OFF" is independent in its organization from the Avignon Festival. It does not involve artistic selection and management, and there can hit anyone.



In the Uzbek State Mukimi Musical Theater was the performance "Lonely Star" (N. Abboskhon) of Andijan Regional Theater of Musical Drama and Comedy named after Z.M.Babura. The play was about loneliness, about the eternal needs of each person in the warmth and understanding. And also about the right to simple human happiness.

Uzbek State Drama Theatre presented the play "Sobeide" (Carlo Gozzi). The performance was staged in the tradition of the Italian commedia “dell'arte” and Uzbek folk theater “maskharabozov”. Action develops in Armuze. The play talks about relationship troubles and sufferings of Zobeide princess and her traitor husband Sinbad.

In Tashkent State Musical Comedy Theater (operetta) was a musical " Love in the style of blues ." The director of Sergei Kaprielov noted that this is the first musical staged in Tashkent. Musical libretto is written by the American writer O. Henry stories. The action takes place in America during the Great Depression. The main idea of ​​the play is revealed in the final song, which is sung, that everyone dreams of finding a soul mate in this vast world. Nabi Abdurakhmanov, artistic director of the Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan and the International Theatre Festival «Theatre.UZ» greeted the audience and said, "Our audience may not always be large, but it is composed of different people, and they have something in common that distinguishes them from viewers of all other countries, in Tashkent most of audience is open and appreciative. And I thank all those who came to the theater, because thanks to you, there is this festival."

In Academic Russian Drama Theatre of Uzbekistan was the performance «Klassika.ru «Chamber Drama Theatre (Vologda, Russia). Spectacle Theater is based on works of Russian writers that have long become classics of world literature: "White Nights" Dostoevsky, “warrior” Leskov and fragments of Pushkin's "Eugene Onegin" woven into intricate lace theatrical game of chance. In extraordinary space "night» of St. Petersburg played equally surreal scenes from the life of the characters of men and women covered by a passionate desire to love and happiness.



Klaipeda Musical Theatre "Pilies" (Lithuania) in the Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan presented the play "Silk» put it on the novel by Alessandro Baricco. A Frenchman Herve Zhonkur who made a living by buying and selling silkworms , at one point went item to another end of the world , in Japan. After making a deal there, he returned home to Lavilledieu. In boxes he brought millions of larvae in the heart and memory - the image of women, with whom never, never, under any circumstances, he could not be together, women with no face girl oriental eye shape. For decades, he was torn between two women. One was a dream, the other - faithful, intelligent, subtle feeling, loving, and above all understanding and forgiving wife. For decades, he shuttled between the two countries. One was his home, where were his family and friends.  The other was a foreign country with strange customs and cruel laws.
