Directed by Ramziddin Qodirov Youth Creativity Program The first music drama inspired by 1910 Kokand events. Halima is the only daughter of merchant Muslim. She grew up in Ortiqboy’s yard. Rahim is the father of Nemat, who was a worker in that yard. Nemat and Halima were in love with each other. Otriqboy sends Nemat instead of his brother as an unskilled laborer to Siberia. Nemat returns from Siberia with a severe case of tuberculosis. Already married to three women, Ortiqboy decides to wed Halima, and in cahoots with a healer, Ortiqboy poisons Nemat. |
